Exceptional hard work pays off for Oenology students from Stellenbosch University and Elsenburg College

Lallemand Oenology: South Africa, in collaboration with the South African Society for Enology and Viticulture, sponsor the annual prizes for the best Oenology students at Stellenbosch University and also Elsenburg Agricultural Training Institute.
These prizes were handed to the winners at a recent SASEV meeting in Stellenbosch.
Janlu Stofberg was the top student at the Viticulture and Oenology Department of the University of Stellenbosch while Donnaé Adams was top of her class at the Elsenburg Agricultural Training Institute for 2025.
Janlu will be departing during January 2026 for a harvest in the Central Otago wine region of New Zeeland.
Donnae got an opportunity at Benguela Cove winery for South African vintage 2026. Due to other commitments, she could not attend the prize giving ceremony. The prize was accepted by her parents on her behalf.
