Product quality & traceability

At Lallemand Oenology, we have implemented strict quality control in all our production facilities at each step of production. Before any of our products are released, we perform rigorous testing to ensure that they meet our high standards for quality and safety. On top of the regular tests, we have developed internal quality control to ensure the highest activity and vitality of our products.

Our commitment to produce the most efficient products extends beyond the initial production process, as we also guarantee traceability during production as well as four years after production.

This level of accountability and transparency is crucial in the wine industry, as it helps to ensure that the microorganisms, we produce are safe and effective for their intended use.

All our products comply with the strictest safety and quality standards. They are non-GMO, suitable for vegan, non-allergenic, meet and go beyond OIV standards and are in compliance with Oenological Codex regulations.

Quality Management system

Quality management is critical in food grade microorganism production to ensure the microorganisms and derivatives are safe, pure, and effective.

We have implemented a very robust Quality Management System (QMS) in all our production facilities.

Our certifications through various standards, such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, and GFSI, provide assurance of high standards and guarantee the quality and safety of all the microorganisms and derivatives we produce.

  • Most of our products can be used in the production of organic wines according to current regulations in place in different countries.
  • Some of our products are certified as KOSHER, KOSHER PARVE or KOSHER PASSOVER.
