The Institute of Masters of Wine and Lallemand announce that Daniela Shelton, from London, has won the 2015 Lallemand Bursary.

The bursary, established in 2010, is open to students in the Institute’s study programme and this year provides a fully-funded place to attend a Lallemand seminar in Lisbon, Portugal, this July. The seminar will focus on wine fermentation and how it can shape the wine profile.

Daniela said: “I am absolutely thrilled to receive this Lallemand Bursary. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to talk to some of the most influential wine making consultants and viticulture scientists in the business, such as Sam Harrop MW and Dr Bruno Blondin. I am particularly looking forward to sharing thoughts on some of today’s hottest topics such as lower alcohol wines, a market perspective of wine faults and the natural wine movement, all of which will be invaluable for my future MW studies.”
